Digital x-rays are captured by a sensor, not film. The images immediately appear on the monitor so there is no waiting for them to develop. They are sharper, too, and we can manipulate them, enlarge them, rotate them, enhance them at the click of a mouse. We can even print copies for you. Most important, they're safer than traditional x-rays, since your exposure to radiation is drastically reduced.
